The Multiplano is a teaching resource designed to help learn maths and statistics. It can be used in both mainstream and special education. It consists of a rectangular board into which pieces and accessories that are part of the set are fitted and which can be combined to explain a specific mathematical operation that can be learnt and understood through sight and touch.
The Multiplano consists of a rectangular board on which pins, rubber bands, circular pieces to represent geometric solids, pieces for calculating functions or trigonometry, bars for graphs, etc. are fitted.
The pieces included in the kit can be combined to make them the size needed to represent numerical or geometric quantities. The activities developed on the Multiplano can be explored both visually and through touch, making it possible to understand maths content such as:
