Using Graphgrid
The flexible grid of rubber bands makes the markings around the Tactipad tangible across the entire surface of the drawing. This provides you with an orthogonal grid across the whole drawing. You can play many games using the cells, such as Tic-Tac-Toe and Battleship. Or even keep track of your own scores in other games such as Yatzee.
Graphgrid can also be used as a table to present data. In primary education, children can learn concepts such as greater than/less than and more/less, learn to count or memorise their multiplication tables.
Using Graphgrid in Maths
There are countless applications for Graphgrid in maths too. For example, to construct a graph using the grid as coordinates. The stronger rubber bands can easily be identified as the x and y axes. Use the trigonometry drawing tool to accurately draw a sine or cosine wave or a tangent graph with the same scale as the Graphgrid measurements.
