The CIBV Project was the first major accessibility project undertaken by Sertec. In partnership with Accessible Portugal and Blue Line, we carried out a major transformation of the Centre, providing it with accessibility resources for people with disabilities. Among other things, a multi-format guide to the exhibition was produced, in simplified writing, enlarged letters, Braille and reliefs; tactile flooring and vertical signage were installed; a tactile model of the Vimeiro battlefield and the building’s floor plan were built. Realistic 3D models of some artillery pieces were also built.

In addition to the Center, a historical route was created through the village of Vimeiro, with information points accessible at places of interest.
